Wires & Nerve Volume 1 by Marissa Meyer
Talking place in the Lunar Chronicles World between Winter and the Winter epilogue (Something Borrowed, Something Blue) in Stars Above, Iko takes matters into her own hands when the wolf soldiers try to threaten the alliance between Earth and Luna. Bringing back our favorite characters from the Lunar Chronicles, this new spin off series takes you across Lunar and Earth with amazing artwork done by Doug Holgate.

This was so amazing.
The Lunar Chronicles is such an interesting world that finally seeing it through artwork for the first time made it so much more real and beautiful. Finally seeing the characters we've grown to love over the series made me feel so happy. After four books, Cinder, Kai, Scarlet, Wolf, Thorne, Cress, Winter, Jacin, and Iko are so personal to our hearts, they feel like friends.
Wires and Nerve takes places about a year after Winter, with Queen Selene trying to fix things on Luna, keeping the peace alliance with Earth and feeling the pressure to rise above the Blackburn legacy. With Luna in safe hands and Levana gone, the Rampion crew has gone their separate ways. Scarlet and Wolf are living on Benoit Farm, Throne and Cress are exploring Earth, and Princess Winter is spreading the word on Earth about the devices to stop the lunar people from using their gifts on humans, with Jacin standing by her side protecting her. But this story follows our favorite android Iko, as she tracks down the remaining wolf packs left on Earth that are still attacking humans and putting a lot of pressure and attention on Cinder.
This graphic novel was a little different, but in a good way. The characters have definitely grown over the course of the series and especially after saving the world. Iko is a character I always wanted more of in the books and I'm so glad she now has her own mini series and important mission to prove in her world that androids are more than just machines.
I also cannot express how much I love the artwork. Waiting another year to find out how Iko's story concludes is going to drive me crazy. Danger is about to come to Iko and her friends, and it's going to take more than luck for them to get out of this mess.
If you are a fan of the Lunar Chronicles, I highly recommend this graphic novel series, it makes a beautiful addition.
