5 Movies I Wish Were Also Books
Throughout my life I have come across a number of movies I wish I could experience again as a book. I have carefully thought out a list of 5 movies I wish I could read:
*Note these movies are not based in any rating order.
1. Titanic
If Jack and Rose don't pull on your heartstrings then your are either lying to yourself or you haven't watched Titanic. It's an incredible love story that has been one of my favourites for years. I would love to read a book, from the point of view of Rose as a surviver, reliving her everlasting love with Jack leading up to the sinking of the Titanic.
2. The Age of Adaline
The Age of Adaline is such a beautifully unique story, I cannot find a book even close enough to satisfy myself. Blake Lively is incredible as the timeless Adaline Bowman. Told from the perspective of Adaline throughout the decades, the story of her history and love life can be pieced together through her long, ageless life.
3. Black Swan
Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis were flawless in Black Swan. I personally love this suspenseful triller based on a ballerina dancing Swan Lake. Told from the perspective of Nina, I would intensely love to get inside her head as she portrays both White and Black Swan.
4. The Parent Trap
In my personal opinion, Lindsay Lohan gives the best performance in this family comedy The Parent Trap. When the preteens meet at a summer camp, they decide to switch places to get their parents back together and have the family they both always wanted. Told from the views of twins Annie James and Hallie Parker, we could experience this timeless story again.
5. The Conjuring
The only thing better than a good horror movie is a horror novel. I went to seen The Conjuring in theatres and it was one of the best horror films I've seen in a while. The only thing that could have made it more perfect was if Ed and Lorraine Warren wrote books, switching between their point of views, about some of their best cases, including The Conjuring and the story behind Annabelle the doll.
