What's Next for TaleswithNicole

I recently posted a message on Instagram and Twitter that explained as of September I will be taking a break from posting new reviews every Friday. This has been something I've been considering for a few weeks as my blog will be turning 3 and I've managed to keep up with it weekly for so long. I feel it's more of an obligation and my reviews are rushed and not written as well to meet the deadlines. As of September, I will be posting reviews as I finish the book and feel that the review is ready to be posted. I will still share my new posts on social media.

When I wrote this, I had full intention of continuing my blog but on my own terms. I hope that still is the case but for the time being I might take a break from my blog, read freely and not focus so much on writing reviews for social media, views and likes. If I happen to feel inspired enough to write I will but I'm not going to sit in front of a computer anymore and focus myself to write, I just can't do that anymore. Writing reviews has been keeping me interested in writing but this blog has also become demanding of my time and I feel like it is keeping me from working on other writing projects. I'm taking a break, and I really hope I can return to this blog will a new energy. I love this blog so much and I have enjoyed working on it over the last 3 years but it's time for a change.

I may not post as frequently on my Instagram account but I will still check it. I follow a lot of authors and other bookstagram accounts and would love to keep that interaction. It really is an amazing community to be apart of. My Twitter account is kind of a mix of books and personal life without being too personal. I only got Twitter to promote my blog and so far have not yet made the decision to keep it or logout.

I'm hoping to keep moving forward with Poison Apple Book Club through taleswithnicole on Insta. Stepping back from my blog may give me the chance to really focus some of my energy on it and I have a few really good reads planned for the rest of 2018.

Thank you for supporting me for the last 3 years.
I hope to make a return.
See you soon.
Nicole
