"After surviving the strangest night of their lives in the Cleveland suburb of Stony Stream, intrepid young newspaper deliverers Erin, Mac, and Tiffany find themselves launched from 1988 to a distant and terrifying future...
the year 2016.

What would you do if you suddenly confronted by your 12-year-old self? 40-year-old newspaper reporter Erin Tieng is about to find out in this action-packed story about identity, mortality, and growing older in the 21st century."

This second edition was just as amazing as the first one!
12-year-old Erin gets the shock of her life when she runs into and is forced to team up with her 40-year-old self. 2016 is a strange time, Erin and her friends have to adapt and learn some interesting things not only about "present" life but the future of their own paths as well. Distractions cause them to want to change the present instead of trying to figure out how to get to the past. And Erin begins to wonder if she can really trust her future self. Just when the girls get a plan in motion and are on the right track to getting back to their time, something always gets in the way. The ending of this Volume sets up a wonderful new adventure for the girls as they get closer to figuring out what the hell is going on(!?)
Just when I think I'm starting to figure everything out something new gets thrown into the mix and causes a whole new mystery. There are more questions than answers and it is hard to trust anyone. Paper Girls is a fun adventure to get lost in, and there is no end to the twists and turns.

I recommend Paper Girls for fans of aliens, monsters, time travel and conspiracies. I also highly recommend Paper Girls for fans of the TV show Stranger Things.
