In the past few days, spring and warm weather has finally come to Newfoundland (Canada) and it has me very excited to put together a Summer Reading List.  Next week I will be going back to my Friday review, but for this week, I wanted to share this list of my Top 3 Reads this Summer 2016.

Wonderland: The Queen of Hearts vs. Red Queen

One of my biggest pet peeves regarding Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is the common confusion with The Queen of Hearts and Red Queen. Between the 1951 Disney version as well as the Disney live action movies, they confuse many characteristics and as much as I love all the movies it is a little annoying.   Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is my favorite book and have read it several times over the years. However I've actually once read Through the Looking Glass twice, and my memory on it isn't as good as the first story.
