For Fans of The Merciless!

Some exciting news for fans of Danielle Vega's fantastic horror debut The Merciless:
 
 
 
Last Thursday afternoon (15 October 2015) Vega announced via Twitter of 3 more Merciless books to be released, starting Summer 2016.
 
 
"Danielle Vega's two untitled horror novels, continuing the saga of THE MERCILESS and its forthcoming sequel THE MERCILESS II (July 2016), the first book will track the chilling origin story of Brooklyn, to Jessica Almon at Razorbill, for publication in Summer 2017, by Hayley Wagreich at Alloy Entertainment (World English).

So get ready for some new favourite horror books! Finally we will get more insight on the amazing characters Sofia Flores and Brooklyn Stevens. With her first two books (The Merciless & Survive The Night) Danielle Vega has quickly grown to be one of my favourite authors. I will be posting when her new beautiful cover for The Merciless II is released as well as the synopsis!!

Also if you enjoyed The Merciless and haven't heard yet, it was announced Summer 2014 that one of the writers for the hit TV show Pretty Little Liar's Marlene King is writing the script for The Merciless Movie! This information was announced before The Merciless was even released and on shelves, which is how I first heard of Danielle Vega and was so impressed I ordered her book on its release date (12 June 2014). Since this announcement last year there has been no new updates regarding casting or starting of production.

Wonderland: The Queen of Hearts vs. Red Queen

One of my biggest pet peeves regarding Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is the common confusion with The Queen of Hearts and Red Queen. Between the 1951 Disney version as well as the Disney live action movies, they confuse many characteristics and as much as I love all the movies it is a little annoying.   Alice's Adventures in Wonderland is my favorite book and have read it several times over the years. However I've actually once read Through the Looking Glass twice, and my memory on it isn't as good as the first story.
