Entertainment/ Literature Fiction TBR

This was a hard post to name, fake fiction was accurate but also sounded silly, since all fiction is fake. This TBR is a list of fiction books that appear in movies, TV shows and books that were made up for the story. The books on this TBR list are not real, just books that fictional characters wrote or talked about.



1. The Atomic County by Seth Cohen
The O.C

Starring The Ironist, Little Miss Vixen, Kid Chino and Cosmo Girl, fictional character Seth Cohen from The O.C creates a comic book world with super heroes based on his group of friends and the adventures they have together.



2. An Unkindness of Ravens by Lucas Scott
One Tree Hill

3. Then and Now by Ezra Fits
with Aria Montgomery
Pretty Little Liars

After Ezra's girlfriends went missing, presumed to be dead, Ezra really wanted to give Nicole a voice, before Ezra and the world found out that Nicole Gordon was actually still alive. Ezra and Nicole shared a love story that sent Ezra to a dark place after her disappearance. According to Ezra, they were building houses in South American with Habitat for Humanity when revolutionaries attacked the workers, kidnapping or killing at least 15 people, which he opened up about with Aria. Writing his own voice, Ezra's old flame and current fiancée Aria Montgomery writing the voice for Nicole, this book was published in the Rosewood world of Pretty Little Liars.



4. The Comet by Lucas Scott
One Tree Hill

After years since his debut novel which was a huge success, Lucas Scott finally gets inspiration to write after returning home to Tree Hill and seeing his ex Peyton Sawyer for the first time since she rejected his marriage proposal a few years earlier. Now newly engaged to his editor Lindsey Strauss, The Comet essentially becoming a declaration of his everlasting love for Peyton, the comet being a metaphor for Peyton's 1963 Mercury Comet convertible.
"The boy saw the comet, and he felt as though his life had meaning."  



4. An Imperial Affliction by Peter Van Houten
The Fault in Our Stars

An Imperial Affliction is Hazel Grace's favorite book, which fuels the plot in The Fault in Our Stars. The main character Anna, which is revealed to be Houten's daughter, has a rare type of blood cancer and is in remission at the start of the novel. The story follows her life until the novel stops mid sentence and ends, indicating that Anna became too sick to continue the story and suddenly dies.  
This book was such a huge party of The Fault in Our Stars storyline and gave Hazel Grace and Augustus such a connection it made me want to read the book. Since the book is just made up for the story I felt I was missing the connection the two characters had couldn't properly relate to them as I was an outsider looking in. This was one of the main reasons I did not like The Fault in Our Stars and gave it a lower rating.



5. Any of the True Crime books
by SSA David Rossi
Criminal Minds

Over the course of Criminal Minds 13 seasons, Supervisory Special Agent and the Unit Senior Agent at the Behavioral Analysis Unit David Rossi has written a number of true crime books based on his cases worked in the FBI. Very similar to what John Douglas would have wrote in Mindhunter, I can imagine any books David Rossi would write to be a bestseller.



6. The Adventures of Jimmy Halpert

The Office
